If you enjoy having a a beer every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can have a success after a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Keep that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and gamble. The pair just don’t mix.
Keeping your money at home is a little bit excessive, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to throw away your assets without a concern, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your inebriated head squanders all the cash!
